The Harvard-China Project's atmospheric and climate research is committed to building observationally validated, fundamental research on the physical and chemical dimensions of the atmosphere and climate system, from urban to global scales.
It includes (click for details):
- Model-based research of the atmospheric environment and climate system;
- Surface and satellite observations of air pollutants and greenhouse gases; and
- Bottom-up and top-down estimation of emissions, including uncertainty analysis.
It is also a core component of a Project-wide interdisciplinary framework applied to evaluation of national greenhouse gas and pollution control policies.
