 

#  Shaojie Song Earns 2021 Young Investigator Award

 **[Dr. Shaojie Song](/people/shaojie-song)**, Research Associate at the Harvard-China Project, was [named the winner](https://www.mdpi.com/journal/atmosphere/awards.pdf/0/pdf_35_2021_4_award.pdf) of the 2021 Young Investigator Award by *Atmosphere*. This annual award recognizes the contributions and achievements of rising stars under the age of 35 in atmospheric and climate science.

 Dr. Song has been a researcher with the Harvard-China Project since 2019. His interests include air pollution, atmospheric chemistry, greenhouse gases, inverse modeling, climate science, and renewable energy. He earned a Ph.D. in 2016 from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Song has an outstanding publication record, comprising over 50 publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
