Xi Lu is an Associate Professor, School of Environment, Tsinghua University and an Alumnus (Ph.D., Postdoctoral Fellow, and Research Associate) and Collaborator, Harvard-China Project. He earned a Ph.D. from the Harvard University Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. His Ph.D. research work focused on an evaluation of the potential of wind power as a cost-effective means to reduce emissions of CO₂using an integrative approach with an interdisciplinary perspective. His current research focuses on the technical, economic, social and environmental dimensions of low or zero carbon energy sources as a means to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide.
