Jack Walker

Jack Walker is a sophomore at Harvard concentrating in electrical engineering and hoping to pursue a secondary in environmental science & public policy. With these studies, Jack will look to help spur a more sustainable societal transition from fossil fuels and towards renewable alternatives--whether through technological innovations in grid storage or fuel cell design, or environmentally-focused policy initiatives. Additionally, Jack is an Air Force ROTC cadet at MIT’s Detachment 365. Once he commissions as a 2nd Lt. into the US Air Force or Space Force, he wants to help decarbonize military transportation and communications networks. All of these endeavors tie in with his current research with the Harvard-China Project: investigating decarbonizing strategies for maritime trade using alternative propulsion methods.
