The Harvard-China Project is the grateful recipient of a major multiyear grant from the Harvard Global Institute of the Office of the President of Harvard University, on the theme of “China 2030/2050: Energy and Environmental Challenges for the Future.”

Over the history of the Project, major funders in the U.S. have included, among others: the National Science Foundation; U.S. Department of Energy; U.S. Environmental Protection Agency; NASA; V. Kann Rasmussen Foundation; Henry Luce Foundation; Ford Motor Company Foundation; and the Volvo Research Foundations.

Major funders from China have included, among others: the Energy Foundation China; NARI Group Corporation (State Grid Electric Power Research Institute); China Three Gorges Corporation; and the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development.
