Chairman of Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization (GEIDCO); Chairman, China Electricity Council; Member, Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences; Former Chairman & President of State Grid Corporation of China

Liu2Mr. Liu formerly served as the Chairman and President of State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC), the world’s largest utility company. He is currently the Chairman of GEIDCO, a United Nations-endorsed non-profit organization that promotes grid interconnection worldwide to facilitate development of renewable energy. In this public lecture, Mr. Liu will focus on low-carbon energy transition through innovative strategies that help to integrate energy systems across regions and the world.
 

The event will be conducted in Mandarin Chinese and English. Simultaneous Mandarin Chinese and English interpretation will be available. Please plan to arrive at least fifteen minutes early and bring a government- or university-issued photo ID if you would like to check-out a headset to listen to the interpretation.
