APPLY to Join Us as a Postdoc or Visiting Researcher

This year we are accepting applications on a rolling basis, to join us during the current academic year (2022-23), or for academic year 2023-24.

The Harvard-China Project on Energy, Economy and Environment, an interdisciplinary program based at the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, annually appoints a number of visiting researchers from other universities and several postdoctoral fellows. Visiting researchers range from Ph.D. students (called “fellows” at Harvard) to junior and tenured faculty members (“visiting scholars”). Postdoctoral fellows must have received their Ph.D. degree by the time of their appointment; we will currently only consider postdoc applicants who have secured external funding as our internally funded positions are filled. We encourage those who have strong academic and research records related to our current research areas to apply for these opportunities.

Applicants from all geographic regions are welcome to apply, with some preference for applicants from China, India, Bangladesh, and Vietnam. Chinese language skills are sometimes advantageous, but not required.
